thanksgiving and cool stuff...

we went to my in laws home for thanksgiving where delicious food and fun was had by all. including a dr. mario tournament played on the wii ( which my dearest hubby of course won)many thanks to my mother in law for a yummy dinner, my favorite was the smoked turkey and sweet potato souffle. jame's cousin heather and her husband billy have this great business that they started a while ago. you may have seen some of the pictures at deseret book. these are by far the coolest pictures of temple i have seen . i love them and i bet you will too...

2 months and 1 week

i am officially the worlds worst blogger. sorry guys. anyhow abe is 2 months old now and the time is sure flying buy. we love having abe in our family. he is so fun and sweet. he has been giving us the sweetest smiles for a while now. he loves to look at light fixtures and then he breaks into this silly little grin. i haven't taken him to his 2 month visit so i'm not sure of his stats. his is around 14.5 lbs though. abe is a really mild mannered happy guy. and don't get mad but he is already sleeping about 10 or 11 hours at night! i think he heard all my mumblings while i was pregnant and decided to be the best boy ever. i love his funny bald head and his stinky little neck. his brothers love him and like to make him smile. we blessed him this past sunday and had the festivities at granny sues afterwards. love these boys!

halloweenies

this year for all hallows the boys were decked out in their scooby gear. ezra went back forth between wanting to be scooby doo and a ninja turtle. my mom found the scooby doo outfit for him and the decision was made as soon as he saw it. eli was shaggy of course. he totally rocks a shaggy hair style! i thought it would be cute for eli to wear a mystery machine van. well a few hours of painting obviously meant nothing to eli, he wouldn't even let us put it on him. oh well at least they can play in it. is is just my boys or are all kids this age into scooby doo?

we went to dinner at granny sues and enjoyed some yummy soup. then it was off for some trick or treating. both boys forgot to say trick or treat until i reminded them. they only went out for a bit but we got a ton of candy. abe and dad stayed home to give out treats so there aren't any pictures of them.

super hero capes for my super kids

every kid loves capes right? i made these right before abe was born and the boys love them. ezra has an "E' on his and eli has a "B" for beebye. i think they turned out supercute.

my sister was telling me that her friend wrote a letter to her children every month to tell them what was going on in their lives and what they were doing that month. i thought it was such a great idea and so i decided to steal it. i am starting with eli because i loved these pictures so much.

eli... you are so sweet and fun. you are also a little twerp sometimes and i love it. you are so different from ezra, i had no idea what i was in for when we had you. you are funny, silly, sensitive, sweet, grumpy, helpful, loyal, loving, fun, handsome, sneaky, naughty, scrappy,darling i could literally go on and on... i love you so much. you are saying more words every day. you love all animals, it doesn't matter if they are stuffed or real. you love your brothers and family. you love routine and have the funniest little quirks. you point and grunt at something when you want it. you love all of your family and are especially fond of granny sue. you love to drink, you are constantly wanting your sippy just like your brother. you love your silky. i don't even know when you usually wake up. you are so quiet and love to just sit in your crib with your binky and silky and rub it between your fingers. you love to cuddle. you love bathes. you love reading books. you love binkies and steal them from abe all the time. you love trains, trucks, dirt and all things boy. you love to eat dirt and sand. you love to cause mischief. you like to hit and bite. you love your dad and get excited when i say he is home from work. you love nursery and being around big kids. you aren't scared of many things. you are adventurous. you have cute long hair that is soft and straight and blond. you have 5 teeth. you only had 2 teeth until you were 16 months old. you love to eat and eat and eat, you far out eat your older brother. you are full of surprises. you are charming. everyone that meets you loves you. you flirt with people and wave and say hi as you pass. you love your squeaky shoes. you like to talk more when ezra isn't around.you are a bit of a drama queen. you just learned how to get into your car seat by yourself. you like to sleep on your tummy. you love your giant tiger. you love to go to sleep. you look so cute when you sleep i check on you alot at night just to see your cute little face. i am so glad that you are mine. sometimes i look at your beautiful, mischievous face and i cry because i love you so much. you are so loved and we are so blessed that you are ours.
