30 things i love about james( who just turned 30)

11. never complains...seriously i complain about everything but james just does things willingly and i really admire it

13. i love that the first thing james does when he comes home is go and give the boys hugs and starts playing with them

14. i love when he jumps on the tramp with the boys and i hear them all laughing

15. good at cooking ( when he does it)

16. i love his big ol lips and cute little bum

17. i love when he gets really silly on rare occasions

18. i love love love our date nights

19. i love his handwriting ( weird huh? but i really do and it makes me smile to see it)

20. i love his ever so slightly crooked teeth

21. i love that he kisses me goodbye every morning whether i remember it or not

22. i love how he thinks its cool that i make handmade gifts

23. he lets me have me time whenever i need it

24. encourages me to go to the gym and offers to watch the boys every day for me

25. he is a great son

26. i love when he plays the piano. i wish i had his mad skills!

30. he takes us to disneyland every year and never complains that we could be going somewhere else

32. i love that he goes to work at 5:00 am just so he can be home by 3:00 to hang out with us

some funny things my boys said this week.

eli-

james was helping eli say a prayer and said "please bless the food will strengthen our bodies..." and eli says in a crazy voice-

" huh potties? and started laughing way hard...

ezra-

ezra was kind of staring off so i asked him what he was thinking about. i said " were you thinking of how cute mommy is?!" and he said "nope" so i said " were you thinking of how stinky your bum is?" and he said " no mom, but will my bum still be stinky when i die?" and i replied " yep, probably even more so."

abey is so cool...

he walks...

he goes potty in the toilet ( and has for over a month now!)...

and he picks and eats lots of apples...

and I love them...

they like apples from grandpa brent's tree... me to, in fact i crave them and eat them every day. i love fall ( and cute bateman boys).

for the bat chandeliers-
everyone needs to bring -

* a pack of glue dots ( megan suggested using your micheals, roberts, or ben franklin coupon)
* embroidery hoops- AND YOU NEED TO PAINT THEM BLACK BEFORE YOU COME!!! it looks like you need three of varying sizes from big to little ( you can get them at craft stores or di or your granny's!)
* a few dollars to cover the cost of the paper, tuelle and fishing line


i will get the tuelle and fishing line, megan has the punch already and may be able to get the paper... yeah i am so excited this is a cute project and i am so ready for halloween!

for the time i was thinking 8:00 so the kids will be in bed. does that work? everyone bring your favorite fall food to share and some copies of the recipe. we will be meeting in my grammy sue's basement so we better behave. any suggestions on anything else?

so i lied.... first craft will not be the earrings. apparently the shop i wanted to purchase the supplies from in in hong kong , and shipping takes 1 -2 weeks.oops. we will still be having crafty night on Thursday if you guys want. i was thinking of the cute bat chandelier from meg's store see here for directions. is everyone good with that? let's get a headcount if you plan on coming or not. tell me in the comments if you plan on coming this time or not. thanks.
